All day yesterday, the internet was loosing connection, getting it back, loosing it, getting it back... and this went on until probably about 10pm, when it died completely...
So this morning I called Comcast (our cable and internet provider) explaining what was going on. The tech told me to go to their website so he could see what's going on... I then tried explaining again how I COULD NOT get online... he said "I see, I see" and told me to do the same thing.... GRRRRR.
So I hung up with him, called back hoping to get someone else, which I did and this guy was a little better. He had me try unplugging the router, plugging it back in, unplugging the modem, plugging it back it... I did this probably 2 or 3 times, and the internet started to work for a little bit again.... then it went out again! After being on the phone with Comcast Support for 15-20 minutes, the tech set up an appointment for someone to come out for us, but not until Thursday between 4-6pm, so basically we'll have to deal with this possibly for another 2 days, unless there is a cancellation with someone else the guy told me.
Needless to say I am so frustrated with Comcast and their services. Honestly, I'm reallllyyy regretting ever signing up with them... we should have shopped around more, and believe me I will be shopping around for better services with better customer service!
Anyway, I thought I'd just share my frustration with Comcast.... Anyone know of a better cable/dish and internet provider who doesn't rob you blind in cost?
